Sheas Salinas plays for the newest MLS
team, the Philadelphia Union. He made the most of his one season with the Dynamo in 2007, leading the team
with 18 points (7 goals, 4 assists). Shea was nomiated to the PDL All-Confernce
Team and was Team MVP helping the Dynamo to the Southeast Division Championship. Salinas played
77 games for Furman University (2004-2007), scoring 14 goals and recording 21 assists. In 2007, he was
named to the NSCAA All-American Third Team, the NSCAA All-South Region First Team, the All-Southern Conference First Team,
and the NSCAA Scholar All-American First Team. Shea came to Philadelphia Union in December
of 2009 via the expansion draft from San Jose. Orginially drafted with the 15th pick by the
Earthquakes in the 2008 SuperDraft, he played 46 games for San Jose through the 2008 and 2009 seasons. In
2008 Shea aslo played one game on loan with the Charleston Battery of USL-1.
